Combining high-grade asphalt with virgin rubber polymers, and recycled rubber and plastic polymers, their proprietary NEX® Polymer Modified (Rubberized) Asphalt technology chemically strengthens and rubberizes the asphalt core of the shingle for superior all-weather resilience and longer product life, all while reducing landfill waste.
Sustainability - It's Not What You Say, It's What You Do
Malarkey pioneered the use of upcycled rubber and upcycled plastic in shingles. And they launched the industry’s first smog-reducing shingle using 3M™ Smog-Reducing Granules. These granules, which blend inconspicuously into the shingle’s color, help clean the air of emission pollutants.
